Subject: Shame on Mumbai MTNL

I have been using MTNL 590 NU plan since past 8 months.( I suppose)
Previously i was using Unlimited plan providied by my cable operator at speed of 40kbps.
Since past 2 months I had been complaining / Suggesting Mumbai Mtnl for the total unlimited plan which was simultaneously introduced by BSNL and MTNL Delhi.
I had written many emails to customer care but seems to be in hands of blind operators.
I even visited their Andheri Office where i was not surprised that none of the staff member were even aware of this plan.
I asked them why was such a discrimination among delhi and mumbai customer on which they replied that almost all plans are introduced simultaneously for delhi and mumbai but for this particular plan they had no idea. They had asked me to write a letter to their Head regarding the same and which i had done it but still no reply.
I suppose there are many people out here who would be looking for the same plan but still not heard by the company.
And the latest addition to this problem is the new upgardation to 2mbps which is left aloof for unlimited plan holders.
Currenly I am recieving bill of 2000 even after using NU plan so any one can imagine kind of use.
I am going to write about this to media hoping that this will be heard.
Also post the same on my blog which I would request all bloggers out here to link it to so that they are made into focus .

Gimme a break.
I’m pretty sure that this is not the case,its just that the Reliance Technical Support seems Incompetent to answer this question, so this seems a lame reply to me.

Bharti Airtel is erforming well.
With news of some major expansion in broadband field coming up, Bharti airtel’s share is moving up and up on BSE.
They have reported a profit of few hundred crores.
Bharti Airtel is really doing well.

For some reason i thought of using Airtel’s Broadband again. I don’t know why but i again started believing that it may provide better services this time around, than what they did before.
I think this time around i am very much satisfied Airtel Broadband.

256 Kbps for an Unlimited connection at 999 INR is not a bad deal considering the fact that now their connection quality is much constant, consistent and better. What else do you need?

I wanted a broadband at home in Pune and I was approached by AirTel Sales person (some Dhirendra). I specifically asked him if I get a static IP or not. He was unable to answer this (as well as many of my other questions) and hence contacted his superior (Ashvin Soni). I talked to Mr.Soni and he promised that I will be given a static IP. Finally I decided to go for it.

To my surprise when the technician came to install, he said that AirTel doesn’t provide static IP to residential customers and I am promosed something that is out of AirTel policy and I will have to live with a dynamic IP.

I have now asked them to disconnect the broadband.

I am surprise to see this kind of practice in a company like AirTel. Sales people promise anything to achieve their target! I am trying to contact the sales person Dhirendra but he is not picking up his phone . What a professional attitude.

Czech-based car manufacturer Skoda Auto has somewhat confirmed that they would launch their Skoda Fabia car in India later this year.

This would be the company’s first volume generating model. They already sell Octavia, Laura and Superb in the Indian market.

Skoda said that this new car would adhere to the small car norms as specified by the union budget. The company wants to benefit from tax cuts on these models to price them competitively.

Shashank Vaid, Senior Manager – Marketing, Skoda India said in a statement on their plans: “We will be launching the new Fabia in the Indian market in the second half of this year but the launch date is yet to finalized”.

The car to be launched in the Indian market would be the same model Skoda would display at the Geneva Motor show in March this year.

Skoda would launch it in both diesel and petrol versions. The Fabia will be available in 1.2 liter petrol and a 1.4 liter diesel. Experts believe that this car should be very fuel efficient considering the company is going to power it with a 3-cylinder engine.
